HRI has developed a two year apprentice program that offers class room instruction, testing, and on the job training with guaranteed increases in pay after successfully completing each of four one thousand hour sessions. HRI is dedicated to providing a safe work environment. There is an ongoing investment in programs, training, and enforcement of all aspects of safety. Training Opportunities

HRI provides numerous opportunities for training to aid each individual employee to advance in knowledge, skills, safety awareness and compliance. Some of the areas of training are described below:

  • Apprentice Program ( a two year program available to all new employees)
  • Career Advancement program ( available to journeymen roofers who desire to advance to foremen)
  • Foremen Training (monthly training to assist individuals to become more skilled in their leadership positions)
  • Equipment/Machinery Training ( training for all equipment and machinery used by HRI)
  • Seminars (training for new roofing applications)

An employee can map their career path with HRI by taking advantage of the programs and training available to all employees.

Safety and OSHA

HRI is very proud of its safety record. The employees of HRI have developed a concern for safety through extensive training and enforcement of safety rules.

Many of HRI's Safety rules go above and beyond the OSHA requirements. Examples of some of the areas of safety training are:
